Mantu Mahakul - Trembling Thirst

While a thirsty camel does not get water,
Still manages more for many days better.
Sweeter you feel the thirst after feeling,
Deer in desert in mirage runs in reeling.

Hot sand that drinks here who does link?
Short thirst comes when fishes in pond think.
Many feel thirsty for matters and money,
Some do drink salt sugar, water and honey?

Why does thirst come all do not understand,
Thirst drinks their hopes in clumsy road stand.
A thirsty man searches water up to far place,
Like rockets go far planets and search in space.

Wise people towards knowledge divert thirst,
They culture and adopt values and purity fast.
Godly wisdom becomes their water to drink,
In thirst to get God in meditation they do link.

Drop by drop they do drink nectar of nature,
Crop they do cultivate of virtue for far future.
God becomes their aim, learning and vision,
Oh dear people this thirst is of God's season.
