i watch myself race with time
massaging these words to fine
looking if fits in box or override
sniff out or fill in those blocks
beauty i am after for us to see
thought follows from you maybe

when darkness hits window sills
calmness comes to me in chills
i have to warm this heart to thrill
dreaming with open eyes, still
i love those times that passed
they come back but won't crash
