I meet up with Nelson, a Filipino/Japanese writer who shows me Rizal Park and tells me about national hero, Jose Rizal. Rizal wrote two books which helped inspire to the bloodless revolution against the Spanish colonists. I'm going to be off the map for 10 days doing a Vipassana silent meditation.
