Manifesto consists of 4 Dundalk students- who all share the same passion ; Music

The band's Bassist Chris Morgan and Frontman/Guitarist Jamie Cummins had previously been involved with another band which fell apart before getting serious, Jamie and Chris decided they would still play music together and began setting out to start a brand new band and recruiting a drummer.

One day in Sept.2009,They asked Jamie's friend Andrew Cronin if he knew any local drummers they could audition, but he said he didn't.He asked if they needed a backup guitarist as he played guitar but Jamie and Chris said they needed a drummer more.Andrew then asked the guys if he could audition to play the drums for the band as he had a kit he messed around on from time to time

2 weeks later after Jamie,Chris and a stand-in drummer performed at the 'Fixed' Stars in your eyes contest, the next week Andrew or "Andy" as he's more frequently known as auditioned and after playing "Welcome to Paradise" by Green Day ,they knew they had something special.

After 2 years as a trio they decided to welcome Damian Hughes,a close friend of the band aboard as a second guitarist.

Since then the band has prospered, building up a collection of original material and cover songs,and gigging throughout Ireland.

They have played alongside acts such as Duke Special,Bipolar Empire,Whipping Boy and Kopek.

They continue to grow as a band.
