Mani

Το βίντεο αυτό δημιουργήθηκε από τον Νίκο Κούζο και την Σύζυγό του Βάντας Ρουμπάνη κατά την διάρκεια μιας εκδρομής στο Μαυροβούνιο της ευρύτερης περιοχής της Μάνης στην Πελοπόννησο τον Ιούνιο του 2015.
Η Μάνη είναι ιστορική περιοχή της Πελοποννήσου που καλύπτει τη χερσόνησο του Ταϋγέτου. Γεωγραφικά η κυρίως Μάνη ή "Μέσα Μάνη", όπως ονομάζεται τοπικά, ορίζεται από τον αυχένα του Ταΰγετου Σαγιά και καταλήγει στο Ακρωτήριο Ταίναρο.Η διαδρομή περιλαμβάνει τον Γερολιμένα και ένα από τα ωραιότερα σπήλαια στον κόσμο που βρίσκεται στα δυτικά παράλια της Λακωνικής Χερσονήσου, στον Όρμο του Διρού. Τόπος τραχύς, επιβλητικός, που γεννά περήφανους ανθρώπους, η Ανατολική Μάνη έχει πιστούς φίλους και πολυάριθμους επισκέπτες όλες τις εποχές του χρόνου. Ιστορική έδρα του Δήμου Ανατολικής Μάνης είναι η Αρεόπολη, ηκοιτίδα των Μαυρομιχαλαίων.
Στην εκδρομή αυτή μας προέτρεψε και μας καθοδήγησε ο φίλος μας Αντώνης Νικολαράκος Μαυρομιχάλης απόγονος της γνωστής οικογένειας. Επομένως δεν πήγαμε απροετοίμαστοι
Ο Γερολιμένας στην Μάνη τα τελευταία χρόνια πρωταγωνιστεί σε πάρα πολλά αφιερώματα τόσο στα ελληνικά media όσο και στα ξένα, ως ένας από τους κορυφαίους off the beaten track προορισμούς στη Μεσόγειο!

On our trip we were urged and guided by our friend Antonis Nikolarakis Mauromichalis descendant of the famous family. So we did not go unprepared
