the state of my heart
the place where we are
apart yet near, being a part of you
so close but yet so far

through all the laughter and all pain
together we're bound to fly

I wasn't meant to love like this
not unless without you

I made it so very late
and I am sorry, sometimes I do
been through a lot of heartache
but I made it and finally found you
