Man swallows 18cm blade after an argument

A bizarre video has emerged of a man taken to hospital after he swallowed a 18cm blade.

The video, captured in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, China in October, shows the blade stuck in the man's stomach and doctors using gastroscope to take it out.

The man reportedly swallowed the blade after having an argument with someone else.

Local news say the operation was record in terms of how long it took to remove the foreign object from the man's stomach with a gastroscope.
