Man sets elevator on fire

Shocking video has emerged of a man appearing to set an elevator in a residential area on fire in China.

The CCTV footage, filmed in Xinjiang on April 1, appears to show a man going into the elevator and using lighter to set the advertising board ablaze.

When the elevator's door opens again, the man presses the top floor button and goes out. Meanwhile, the fire inside grows larger.

According to local reports, the suspect hasn't yet been arrested.
