Man Helps Moose Calf Cross River

Occurred on June 4, 2021 / Allagash, Maine, USA

: "A baby moose struggling in water hole after mother moose made many failed attempts in and out of the water trying to help her baby up on the high river bank with no success. she made her last attempt just after this video and then went out of sight into the woods as we watched this from downriver. The exhausted baby then made its way upriver alone to make another attempt across the river to try and get to its momma as we made our way to the rock bar in the middle of the river. The baby was rescued while making its final attempt when we picked the baby up and helped."
