Rumbling out of the burgeoning underbelly of the South African music scene, comes Man As Machine. A hard-rocking musical quartet made up of four of the most talented, hardest working musicians the South African rock scene has ever come to know. After more than 6 years on the music scene, Man As Machine are now ready to release their second studio album, “Patterns”.

Four years have passed since Man As Machine dropped their critically acclaimed album, “Nothing But A Thing”, with music critics calling it the best “best local rock release of the year” (MusicReview.co.za) at the time. “Patterns” is the 11-track follow up album to “Nothing But a Thing”, and was produced by Dave Grevler at Anti-Motion Studios; then sent to Clint Vincent of the band, “Dead Letter Circus”, to be mastered. Knowing that this is some of their best work yet, Man As Machine will be releasing the album for free via digital download!

Comprised of “arguably the best vocalist in South Africa” (So Much Music.co.za), Rob Visser; soulful guitarist, Norden Hartman; hard-hitting drummer, KJ Forde; and groovy bassist Xavier Knox, Man As Machine have successfully cemented themselves as a staple in the South African Music scene. With many accolades under their belts, and a heavy touring itinerary which have seen the band share stages with Wolfmother, The Editors, Aloe Blacc, Dead Letter Circus, Rise Against, and Bring Me The Horizon; Man As Machine have showed no signs of slowing down.

Man As Machine will be taking “Patterns” on the road, and bringing their signature mix of rock ‘n roll, soul, and hard rock to fans all over the country.
