Oh, the thrill of swinging on the swing,
I felt as if i had wings.
Now as my granddaughter shrills
As she pushes herself with her little feet,
Going to and fro at a speed,
Screaming and showing of with glee-
Now you can’t catch me.
Through her infectious joy and pride
I relieve
My childhood memories
