Mamta Agarwal - ! ! ! ! ! Lessons from Life- couplets
20 Views • Nov 08, 2014
Description
Wise advice, maintain equanimity.
Money is the bane of even close blood ties.
It’s best to donate wealth before you die.
To enjoy the cool night of a full moon
Have to walk bare feet in desert in noon.
If gloom and rancour be your bed fellow,
Seek good company, let spirit mellow.
Friendship is bound to go for a sixer,
As soon as money comes into the picture.
All cherished beliefs, values get churned,
As life compels to learn, unlearn, relearn.
Buffalos beat the heat in muddy pond,
While man swoons under palm fronds.
Unmindful speech wounds like an arrow,
Like a hunter aims and fells a sparrow.
Sensory pleasures give short lived delight
For pure joy just seek within- inner light.
Things do happen whether you like or not,
What use is worry it only makes life short.
