Mallya's mess, nation's burden?
Description
With losses of 8000 crore and debt of over 7000 crore, the Kingfisher Airlines was suspended on Saturday (Oct 20) by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). But the cash stripped airline was being treated with kid gloves and given innumerable chances. Now, the questions have been raised - could this colossal mess have been possible without the cooperation of PSU banks, Civil Aviation Ministry officials and even politicians?
