Malaysia records 217 new cases
Description
The recent spike in Malaysia’s Covid-19 cases is mainly due to the Health Ministry’s active case detection at hotspots, says Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
In his daily Covid-19 media briefing, the Health director-general announced 217 new cases, the second highest daily jump for the country.
Only the day before, Malaysia recorded 208 new Covid-19 cases.
