An empty frame
sits on my desk
and waits to hold your picture,
so, you can be near me,
and I can hold it up to my face.

At night, I squeeze my pillow.
I want to feel you, and hold you tight.
Thoughts of you running through my head,
but you are never be around.
Yet you never leave my soul.

An empty frame
just like my soul,
hoping for your presence....
and loving you,
until the end of time.
