Making the Scope Base Mounting Screws Nearly Perfect
Description
The scope base mounting screws on a safari rifle should be designed to withstand the added shock and recoil of a magnum cartridge. By modifying the mounting system to use 8-40 screws rather than the typical 6-48, the system can be made stronger and more reliable.
