Women in Pakistan are generally perceived to be confined to their houses but trends have changed. Islam has granted revolutionary right to women, 15th Centuries ago, placing them on right pedestal of nobility. Numerous eminent Muslim women have risen to distinction Pakistan, being an Islamic State, has empowered women. Pakistani woman has her significant role in foundation of the country. They hold a dignified position in history. Starting form then, Pakistani women are figuring prominently in all walks of life. Woman of Pakistan has come long way to prove herself. She has made policy makers to redefine her status and importance through Islamic constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and Islam’s interpretation of women. In Armed Forces women have attained high ranks. The valuable contribution of women of Pakistan in strengthening the Armed Forces is very important for progress and prosperity of Nation. They are at par with men now.
