Due to the corrosive nature of black power cartridges, many firing pins founder in older firearms are damaged and in need of replacement. In this short video Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA, demonstrates the process for fabricating a replacement firing pin from drill rod using a metal turning lathe.
