MAJOR TTEC CIRCUIT COMMISSIONED

A second major electricity transmission line has been commissioned, bringing with it the potential to avoid a repeat of last year’s nationwide blackout.

Earlier today the Minister of Public Utilities switched on a new 220kv circuit at T and Tec's Union Substation.

While the project started some time ago, it was one of the recommendations made following the investigation into the blackout.
