The still autumn trees
Appear emotionless
And shriveled
Frozen water
Icy emotions
Melt with the warmth
And flow as streams
And tears
And carry with them
The debries of negativity
For when the snow melts
The greenary sprouts
And the spring arrives.
An infant, innocent
Emotion takes birth.
