Daughters are sweet
Daughters are cute
Protect them please
Lest they get hurt
Daughters are today's truth
And your bygone youth

You too are someone's daughter
And wanted the world
To change in your favour
But the change does not easily occur
And takes a lot longer

So lady,
Shield your precious daughters
For daughters are not just sweet
And not only cute
But a stepping stone
To tommorow's women power.

I wrote this poem for daughter's day, but i am posting it today.
