At the doorstep of my heart,
with my nameplate and a lock
my soul stands, exhausted.
And as I open the door,
the grime and the dust
of the day's commotion
the frenzy, the cold envy
the torrid wrath, the temptations
the frustrations, the compulsions
and the deciet, all fall down.
The pastel walls welcome
the music of optimism plays,
my baby's hugs pamper
and a peaceful slumber later,
like in a mother's womb,
I am all at home
like a soul to the heart.
