That voilent storm
That blusters with rage
And lifts the dust
And the dried yellow leaves
Of thoughts
That settled long ago
And blows them helter-skelter
It mercilessly reduces
The proud steadiness
Of the cosy dwellings
To pitiable heaps
It churns the seas of minds
And wrecks the smooth sailing
Ships of life
And shivering and trembling
I search for the weeds of hope
And clutch at the logs of faith
That navigate me
To the safe shores
But alas! As the storm halts
I stand awash
And helplessly leave
The old load of faith
In search of
A whole new world
