Founded in January 2014, MAICO is formed by Miguel Barceló (vocals), Nito Cárdenas (acoustic guitar and backing vocals) and Tomeu Ferrà (electric guitar).

Right after a month’s intensive studio work, the band heads into Alchemy Studios and starts recording its first live acoustic video sessions available on MAICO’s You Tube channel. Such recordings have been crucial for the integration of the band in the local music scene.

MAICO’s debut has been remarkable and for the third consecutive time the band has sold all the tickets. Maico’s last performance was at the Auditorim in Palma de Mallorca in “Le Foyer” with a capacity of over 300 people.

The band will soon be performing in Costa Nord as a guest Band with JOAN AS A POLICE WOMAN, a New Yorker band currently on an international tour.

Within the next month the Band will be recording its first EP at Cosmic Blend Studios run by Toni Noguera .

He is a well known local producer that has worked with local bands who are now touring round the USA, such as L.A. and Oso Leone.

By the end of the summer MAICO will be performing in Madrid for Victoria Summer Acoustic Concerts invited by GIGNTIK, one of the top music and artist management agencies in Spain.
