Mahindra Ssangyong Compact SUV & MPV In Development !

As we are already abreacted, about the Mahindra's compact SUV 'S one zero one', to be there in the making. Here comes the latest, Mahindra and Ssangyong jointly developing a compact SUV, codenamed 'S one zero two'! The 'S one zero two' will be rivaling the likes of Ford Eco Sport and such. It became a known that, India-based carmaker is building up this S U V at its Nashik manufacturing unit.
Mahindra- Ssangyong compact SUV will use the brand's petrol engine of 'one point zero liter' for the first time. Hence, it will be the carmaker's initial attempt to go such extreme with its petrol variants.
Very sketchy confirmation revealed that, Ssangyong's compact S U V will utilize the carmaker's 'X hundred platform' underneath. That same is reported have been used for developing a M P V codenamed 'S one zero three' as well! Apparently, the overall scenario will be likewise the Honda Jazz and Mobilio, for MPV segment. Unveiling of 'Mahindra-Ssangyong first vehicle', i.e. the compact S U V, is said to take place in 'two thousand fifteen'.
