mahi gill was born on 19 december 1975 in Chandigarh ,she completed her masters in theatre in 1998.gill made her debut from Punjabi based bollywood film hawayein and has done couple of Punjabi films along with theatre .then she was finalized by anurag to play paro role in film dev d for which her performance was very much appreciated by audience and critics ..she have also worked in ram gopal verma 'not a love story 'then later she worked in sahib biwi aur gangster this film was an average at boxoffice
