Mahfooz Ali - Being Motherless............................

I often dream of you , by the harsh reality that your gone.
I often wonder why you were gone so young
I see you dancing with pari (angel) for that was your way always kind and loving.
you left three of us to grieve you forever and day never to see your beautiful smile on us again.
So many times in my life you eased my pain that could have overtaken me in the midst of thunderbolts.
We had a bond that many didnt even measure,
you were my best friend, my mom, and my guardian.
I think of you alone to my thoughts wishing I could tell you all that I' ve been through these long eighteen years.
I hold you in my heart, but still I set my foot on alone without you here.
My life will never be the same,
The biggest part of mine seems missing.
I am a mere a shadow of my past,
if you were here you would say Mahfooz be strong my boy.
You must go on I am in the arms of the god now.
I know you are the one who is keeping me safe.
I will always love you my mother, my dreamgirl, until meet you again somewhere in time.
You live in my heart.
When I look in the mirror I see you being that I look so much like you,
be proud of me mother because I stand on myself.
I love you.




(18th August is my Mother's death anniversary.)
