Mahathir: Sodomy II 'not entrapment'

Former premier Mahathir Mohamad today expressed his incredulity at the allegations that Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim was the target of sexual entrapment.

"No I don't think there is any entrapment," said Mahathir after opening the fifth outlet of The Loaf chain of bakeries at Bangsar Baru today.

He was responding to reporters when asked about communiques leaked by whistle blower website Wikileaks, that alleged that Singapore Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew had said that Anwar was set-up in a 'sex trap'.
