Maharashtra constitutional crisis, CM dials PM Narendra Modi

A constitutional crisis looms large in Maharashtra as Legislative Council polls are on hold due to Corona fight. The Shiv Sena is angry at Koshyari for not acting on the proposal sent by the cabinet of appointing Uddhav Thackeray as a Governor appointed MLC. Uddhav has to get elected on either house as he is not a member of the state legislature. Uddhav has till 27th of May to get elected as an MLA or MLC or resign. On Wednesday, CM Uddhav Thackeray dials PM Narendra Modi to discuss the ongoing political situation in the state amid coronavirus.
