Magic Eye Winker

Magic Eye Winker. Uses a EM81 (6DA5) tuning indicator tube. The triode section of this tube is wired as a phase-shift oscillator. The oscillating frequency is low (~1Hz), so that the waveform opens and closes the eye at a visible rate. Its "all tube" and contains no semiconductors. A 6AL5 is used for the power supply rectifier.
