Whenever we enter the first time on a new balcony, accompanied us a great anxiety. This time, we responded to the invitation of the Grand Theatre in Poznan. Beautiful place, majestic architecture, the nineteenth-centrury district of the imperial buildings.

In the foyer some soinds of the preparation, fever, the piano in the background. We wait. There are four ladies, opera divas in a huge beautiful dresses. The first sounds of a piano. The beautiful voice of Magdalena Nowacka enslaves our minds, makes that we forget about the nerves. Willy-nilly, we become an audience focused on every sung note of aria. In the background the sound of gushing fountains.

Magdalena Nowacka - soprano, soloist of the Grand Theatre in Poznan associated with this scene since 2001. She sang standards of Norma from Vincenzo Bellini's opera - "Norma" with transcriptions of Frederic Chopin - "Casta Diva".
Olena Skrok was accompanied on the piano - pianist, born in Lviv, associated with The Grand Theater since 2008.

Zawsze, gdy wkraczamy po raz pierwszy na nowy balkon, towarzyszy nam ogromne zdenerwowanie. Tym razem odpowiedzieliśmy na zaproszenie Teatru Wielkiego w Poznaniu. Piękne miejsce, majestatyczna architektura, XIX-wieczna zabudowa dzielnicy cesarskiej.

We foyer przygotowania, gorączka, w tle słychać fortepian. Czekamy. Pojawiają się cztery panie, diwy operowe w pięknych ogromnych sukniach. Pierwsze dźwięki fortepianu. Piękny głos Magdaleny Nowackiej zniewala nasze umysły, powoduje, że zapominamy o nerwach. Chcąc, nie chcąc stajemy się publicznością skupiona na każdej nucie śpiewanej arii. W tle szum tryskającej fontanny.

Magdalena Nowacka - sopran, solistka Teatru Wielkiego w Poznaniu związana z tą sceną od 2001 roku. Zaśpiewała arię Normy z opery "Norma" Vincenzo Belliniego w transkrypcji Fryderyka Chopina - "Casta Diva".
Na fortepianie towarzyszyła Olena Skrok, pianistka, urodzona we Lwowie, z teatrem Wielkim związana od 2008 roku.
