violets are blue

i gave you my heart, mind, and soul
and gave you the trust
not to break my heart.
til this day i just look at you and what you've done.
3 years and without me
you got locked away.
we helped each other
stay good and innocent without you,
i truly believe we would be different today.
8 months of staying faithful to you,
and to hear from your friend
that you cheated on me when you left,
i cheated back.
it hurts.
when times were tough,
i cut,
then you did too.
you mean so much
and now we talk again,
were all better again.
