Goodbye to all the bad moments
And all the good ones too.
Goodbye to feeling my heart soar
at the mention of you.

Goodbye to wondering day and night
If you could feel the same
Goodbye to counting all the ways
To prove it’s not a game.

Goodbye to smiling every day
When I see you at school
Goodbye to looking at your friends
And wondering how they're cool.

Goodbye to counting all the moons
And mapping out the stars
To try and find a route that will
Lead me into your arms.

Goodbye to all the things so far
That made life so worthwhile
But of the things I'll miss the most
I'm gonna miss your smile.
