Madhusudan Mistry booked for 'defamatory' pamphlets

An FIR has been registered against Congress' Vadodara candidate Madhusudan Mistry for distribution of pamphlets allegedly defaming BJP's PM candidate, Narendra Modi.

The Manjalpur police registered complaint against Mistry on Tuesday after district election officer (DEO) Vinod Rao referred the case to them. The Congress, however, cried foul and alleged that the police and poll officials are siding with Modi.
