maddy macleod - her, why?

they thought she was suisidal.
why?
of all people,
her?
the one who jumps around,
laughing,
happy,
perky.
no,
not true!
she wouldn't,
she won't.
i promiss.
that would never happen.
could it?

she wrote a poem,
about death.
doesn't everyone?
i do.
no one worries about me.
i wonder why they choose her,
out of all of us,
poets.
we write about
death,
happiness,
sadness,
fear...
all of the depressing subjects.
but they go for the young girl
who chooses to write about death.
strange.
