It's a retailer's nightmare. According to Business Insider, Macy's credit card system crashed on Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year. Social media comments suggest that although cash was being accepted, the credit shut down not only made customers get antsy but also delayed the sales process. One Macy's shopper tweeted, "All the credit card machines at Macy’s broke down fifteen minutes before the door busters expired, and I think I’ve now witnessed hell.
