MACC urges state govts to implement asset declaration for lawmakers
Description
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Latheefa Koya urged all state governments to emulate the Federal Government's move to have lawmakers declare their assets, which will help the commission to monitor any element of wrongdoing or abuse of power by lawmakers.
She said this after the launch of the Melaka Against Graft Practices programme on Thursday.
