Description

Long time ago, Jurassic age
There lived a strange creature
Their names: the Theosauruses,
And each one was a preacher.

They’d preach to the Plesiosaurs,
Triceratops, Pteranodon,
Even Brachiosaurus was
Admonished, all night long.

Their messages were quite simple,
One warning, loud and plain,
That if they lead a greedy life
They’d die in fire and flame.

Of course the dinosaurs they knew,
The message, just a joke!
But soon the Theosauruses
Their anger did provoke.

The constant nagging to desist
Their wealth, their lives regal,
Made Tyrannosaurus declare,
Their preaching illegal.

The Theosauruses preached on,
Without regard to sanctions,
The others put an end to this,
With public executions.

The Theosauruses now gone,
The dinosaurs kept up their greed,
Their constant state of monstrous pride,
They paid the words no heed.

But where are all those reptiles now?
They died in fiery meteor strike.
A retribution for their greed,
And other sins alike.

The Theosauruses wise words
Still holds true to this day,
Avoid temptation to make grief,
And do not cause dismay.

And if people can learn to share,
No greed or wrath or strife,
The world would be a better place,
And ours, a better life.
