Mabel Akena - Spellbound

my lonesome heart's cry, once more fills the empty room,
my mistaken divulgence from the expected,
an unfortunate yet unforgettable lesson,
like voices from the walls that surround me
the ancient curse cries
new and true as ever.
the solitary existence foretold
so many years ago like an unshakable mark
an invisible shadow,
that with me, reverently follows
and my frozen heart.
a mirror,
a reflection,
to hard to perceive,
the pain,
too far concealed to be revealed
a faraway dream, of a young hearts discovery of another
tarnished,
scattered to the wind
all that's left
is but its whistled exit,
from a heart too used to being alone
an empty vessel too tired to believe, that
in this audious journey there exsists
even in fantasy one whose magic,
can resurrect it from the depths of its unarousable sleep
from the purgatory of its cursed existence.
One who would
Pluck it from its watery prison.

To unfreeze the frozen
To bind the broken
To unspell the spellbound
And free it at last
from its inescapable fate
