MAA: April auto sales drop by 23%

Automotive sales dropped in April after the pre-Goods and Services Tax (GST) promotion offers that had boosted demand in the preceding month.

Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) announced that total vehicle sales in April fell 23 per cent year on-year to 45,187 units from 58,741 units in the previous corresponding period.
