M Fiery Leo - SOLITUDE: AN ODE

Oh return! Do return!
My comrade, my only mate
Oh Solitude! You were my friend,
Nd are my friend till date!

I loved u for ur silence,
Ur peace nd ur soothing touch
For ur ability to lay one calm,
Your gentle feel as such!

U know am a person to whom u were,
A blessing, a boon, a bliss
Unlike others, i hate the crowds
Nd loved u, but u miss!

U're gone, nd now life is a misery,
A doom, a hellish place to live
U've gone without a word through ur lips....
And left me sensitive!

I know not the place u've escaped to,
Which corner of this infinite cosmos
But know, that u're now beyond my reach,
Oh heaven! What a drastic loss!

Oh remember! Do remember the days,
We rejoiced together with none else around,
We flew on the wings of imagination,
So pure, mesmerising; i was spell-bound!

U were for me, i were for u,
Who cared 'bout the earth, heaven or hell
Lost in our world of divine ecstasy,
I can't forget...........can u, plz tell!

Now whom to say, to cease the chaos,
The commotion, the trauma of life,
I've tried my best, but all in vain
My trials nd all my strife!

Its over forever, no hope sustains,
Nd i am destroyed for years nd years........
U may mistake it-for a poem,
But 'tis my pain, written in ink of tears! ! !
