Have the winds of change ceased
To blow, and the status quo
Threatens hope amidst
The collective messy chaos?

or is it just a lull
in the tempest
and life seems dull
and predictable at best?

For the privileged are still cursed
With perks and lucrative deals
And the misers are still blessed
With misery and mountains of bills

Wars over idols
Still fought everywhere
Temples of shopping malls
Still selling salvation and care
