to be ashamed
of them

I'll bring
the nightmares
to haunt you
as you sleep

No peace
to be found
waking
or
dreaming

I'll crush
your spirit
and plant
thoughts
of your demise
in your head

You'll hate me
but hold me tight
You'll cry
and beg
for a second
a moment
of rest
but
I will not
give in

I'll drain
every happy memory
and distort them
twist them
and make them
come alive

reality
and
fantasy
will be
unrecognizable

So enjoy
the ride
by the time
you figure out
who I am
it will be
too late
