He has ice water for blood
And a stone for a heart

Though they live there together
They are worlds far apart

She is the water, he is the earth
The best they can manage
Is barely a dearth

They wait for the rain
To cleanse all their pain

For each loveless day
Is cloaked in disdain

Trust it becomes
A mere fleeting matter

And her heart breaks into
As it finally shatters

Emotions fly high
In the wind as they scatter

Beyond the horizon
No longer in view

True love is a blessing
For the fortunate few

But not for the one
Who is so filled with such ire

Who long ago lost
All her earthly desire

Just look at her aura
Consumed by the fire

As the flames of her anger
Grow higher and higher

Her ashes now spent
On the funeral pyre

But alas when her soul
It finally wakes up

She will waken in heaven
To Loves sweetest touch
