Lyft CEO to Step Down in April

Lyft’s ($LYFT@US) cofounders, CEO Logan Green, and president John Zimmer will step down from their roles, and David Rishner, a former retail executive at Amazon. Rishner will step into his role beginning April 17th as Green transitions to serve as chair of the board. Zimmer will step down from his role and serve as vice chair on the board. Lyft’s current chairman Sean Aggarwal will step down from his post but will remain on the board. Rishner was at Amazon ($AMZN@US) from 1997-2002 and served as its first vice president of product and store development. He was a top lieutenant of Amazon founder and executive chairman Jeff Bezos. Lyft shares rose about 5 percent in after-hours trading.
