Plot : + The Lux Radio Theatre. October 18, 1937. "Up Pops The Devil". Sponsored by: Lux. A romance about a married couple who break up after she gets a job dancing in the chorus so he can stay at home and become a writer. Intermission guest is Hollywood gossip columnist Jimmy Starr with the latest "screen scoops." Howard Greer, the owner of a Hollywood designing company is interviewed about costume design. + The play takes place in New York where a potential writer, just recently married is asked by his young bride, to consider throwing up his full time employment and take up writing full time. Naturally he laughs at the idea and puts obstacles in it’s path, but she is a very determined lady and threatens to leave him and go home to mother if he doesn’t give himself a chance. She even takes a job as a chorus girl.
