Luke's honest spirit, soaring voice and natural charisma saw the Australian public take him into
their hearts and in return crowned him runner up in the competition-- not bad for someone who
had never set foot in the music industry. 2008 to be a landmark year for Luke in more ways than
one with his first son, Jordan, born in the midst of the competition.
2011 is simply another big year in the life of this Aussie Shearer and with the Toyota Star Maker
under his belt the year is jampacked with touring, performances at all the major Australian
Festivals and working in the studio on a brand new album which will be released at the Gympie
Muster in August.
The shearer from Young, will always remain a country boy & with his career as a singer set for
longevity, Luke Dickens will be a name to be seen on the Australian music scene for a long
time to come.
