Since the beginning of time
Darkness comes close
Threatening to blot out every star in the sky
Every lantern in this world

Suffocating blackness pushes in on all sides
No hope of escape
Should I try to run
Or I give myself to fate?

All at times feel this misery
This inescapable melancholy
Love is dead
Happiness is gone

An endless war rages
Can I stop the hate
Do I keep fighting
Or give myself to fate?

The stars are gone
The Earth has passed
Along with it
My hope is dead

I finally stopped fighting
I accepted fate
I surrendered my control
To the power of destiny
