Lucy Lll - Bruised Sweethearts

Make my cheeks crimson red my darling,
My dark hair more tainted than black.
Look into these pools of clear blue emotion,
A bruised figure, a reflection, looks back.

Take me by my uncertainty,
And lead me straight to you.
Over well worn paths we used to walk,
Towards a better truth.

The innocence we both cling to,
The people we both were,
We can find when we look
in each others' eyes;
We both shine together like stars.

Hand in hand we walk;
Two bruised sweethearts.
