Blossom falls like snow-white rain,
The dark of winter has gone again,
buds burst to welcome spring,
while swooping swifts are on the wing

Sun-gold daffodils bow to the breeze,
As wind whispers through the trees,
The winter-weakened sun awakens
And emerges from his cloudy blanket.

Life explodes in every lair,
And spirits rise everywhere,
Gardens fill with birds’ shrill calls,
And ivy creeps up countless walls.
